NO FOOLS ON APRIL

April went and left with a flurry and certainly with no time to fool around.

The Lodge's furnishings were finally delivered along with gifts of chairs and electric fans from gracious hearts and friends.

Just in time for the 5th public installation of officers of Model Court No. 55 of the Order of the Amaranth.

Then the 4th edition of the Lodge's annual right-of-passage with the Munoz Bodies (AASR) and the Amaranths but this time with a parallel medical mission.

And the month's highlight as the Lodge's delegation motored to Legazpi City for the 99th Annual Communications of the Grand Lodge of the Philippines where Grand Master Allan Purisima recognized Model Lodge No. 373 as among the six outstanding Lodges of the Philippine jurisdiction in 2014.

Community service also beckoned as the Lodge responded to the blood donation drive of the Kapisanan ng mga Broadcasters sa Pilipinas in Fort Magsaysay.

And though it all, the 373 Bikers never stopped riding.

ANCOM 2012: WE ARE OUTSTANDING WORSHIPFUL MASTER

Model Lodge No. 373 is proud of its Immediate Past Master, Bro. Marionito L. Guerrero, who was recognized as one of the 3 Outstanding Worshipful Masters of the Grand Lodge of the Philippines.

The recognition was presented by outgoing Grand Master Bro. Juanito P. Abergas during the Grand Master's Night of the 96th Annual Communications of the Grand Lodge of the Philippines that was held at the Camarines Sur Covention Center.

Brother Marionito shared the recognition with Bro. Manfred E. Solero of the Benjamin O. Go Memorial Lodge No. 303 and Bro. Francis S. Celis of Macalajar Lodge No. 184, and Bro. Roberto O. Sing of the Frank Reed Horton Memorial Lodge No. 379.

2011 ANNUAL COMMUNICATIONS

Model Lodge sent one of the biggest delegations to the 2011 Annual Communications in all-out support to Bro. Allan Purisima, a past District Deputy Grandmaster of Masonic District RIII-D, who was later overwhelmingly elected as the Junior Grand Warden of the Grand Lodge of the Philippines. Model Lodge also extends its unconditional solidarity and support to Bro. Juanito Abergas --- the newly installed Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of the Philippines and the second Novo Ecijano to be such after Bro. Danilo Angeles who is the incumbent Grand Secretary.

OFFICERS ATTEND LODGE MANAGEMENT SEMINAR

By the sheer number of participants who filled the Plaridel Masonic Temple to the limit, the Grand Lodge of the Philippines’ Lodge Management Seminar was a smashing success.

There was much enthusiasm as the protocol on reporting, the guidelines on balloting, and the rules on suspension were revisited and discussed. Everyday issues too were raised and analyzed as practical cases.

Representing Model Lodge No. 373 in the seminar were Worshipful Master Bro. Manolo Mercado, Senior Warden Bro. Marionito Guerrero, and Lodge Secretary Bro. Shubert Ciencia.

The seminar was held for the Masters, Wardens, Secretaries, and Treasurers with the primary objective of enriching the housekeeping capacities of all Lodges under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of Philippines.
