It's not the baskets made during Part II of a basketball game against the Army's Special Operations Command Team, or the marks hit during a shooting drill that followed the game.
It is the trophies that were brought home from the District Lambskin Apron Elocution contest where the Lodge placed third among a field of 18 competing Lodges through the representation of Bro. Ernesto T. Jimenez, and Team 373 losing by a hair to settle for second in the District Ritual Olympics.
And of course the opportunity of witnessing the Grand Master himself --- Bro. Tomas G. Rentoy III --- preside over an exemplification of the 1st and 2nd sections of the Third Degree of Masonry at the Grand Lodge of the Philippines.
Under the Jurisdiction of the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of the Philippines

THE IDES OF MARCH
There were of course the installation rites with Bro. Agustin Liwag of Zaragoza Lodge No. 263, Bro. Romeo Novelles of Factoria Lodge No. 311, and Bro. Romeo Dacanay of Manuel L. Quezon Memorial Lodge No. 262 ascending the Oriental Chair.
And the 373 Bikers too who earned more Finisher's Medals at the Pedal One for Fun, the Papaya Mountain Bike Challenge, and the Licab Mountain Bikers' Padayak para sa Kalusugan fun rides plus a mini tour of Aurora province.
DDGM Jerome Malaca presided on what might his be his last District Meeting in Baler and Bro. Oliver Almeria was installed as the Venerable Master of the Munoz Bodies of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rites.
Amidst the bustle of it all, the Lodge went on with its labors, and with Model Court No. 55 of the order of the Amaranth checked on the wellness of its members, prepare the candidates in receiving the degrees of Masonry, polish the floorworks, and enjoy the wine of refreshment as a just and earned reward after the work is done...

SHORT FEBRUARY AND THE LONG STORY OF IT
There were of course the 373 Bikers who rode 77.2 kilometers to explore Tibag and Macanae Dam that culminate in the presentation of a coveted t-short to Bro. Darwin Pastor, and a homage to one of the Lodge's generous Temple patrons --- Bro. Muelvyn Agustin --- who was installed as as the 13th Master of Mangaldan Lodge No. 354.
Bro. Nathaniel Elegado presided over his first meeting as Master of the Lodge that saw the inaugural monthly prick of the Lodge's Wellness Program extend into Year 2, and the first graduates of the Lodge's "Tried and Proven" lecturer's training facilitate the first meeting with the Lodger's candidates.
The Lodge's delegation enjoyed the fellowship fete of Bros. Avelino Catahan Jr. and Teodolo Samatra who were installed as Masters of Mario S. Garcia Memorial Lodge No. 306 and Nueva Ecija Lodge No. 73, respectively, and Bro. Amidon Nicolas' impromptu welcome party in Manila.
A week later, Bro. Vladimir Poblete threw a party to remember after his installation as Master of Pantabangan-Bonari Lodge No. 203 that it took the 373 Bikers a day after before they recovered their bearings and rode their bikes again.
In between, the Lodge's corporate, the Moringa Technology Development and Resource Center, Inc., was convened to review what has been done and what needs to be done.
And finally, the 373 Bikers took to their last bike ride of the month before travelling to Camiling, Tarlac to witness the installation of the Bro. Rex Kiok --- a fellow of the Knights of the Scarborough Shoals of the Munoz Bodies of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rites --- as Master of Victory Lodge No. 116.
And that is the Lodge's long story of the shortest month of February.

53 & 168 / 55.3 + 48.2
The number 53 of course is synonymous with historic Cabanatuan Lodge where Bro. Arnold Ateneo Lucas was recently installed as Master after which two 373 Bikers, perhaps still groggy from the fellowship that ensued, missed the rendezvous and chased 55.3 kilometers of back roads in their own quest to discover that waterfall so eloquently described by Bro. Jerry Padilla in last week's Villa Isla Trail ride.
The next day, it was Bro. Hossain VC Shamsoddin Vostakalaei who was installed as Master of Gen. Mariano Llanera Memorial Lodge No. 168, equally replete with history, with the same overflow of corn, wine, and oil which the brethren of Model Lodge partook in moderation in anticipation of a 48.2-kilometer Sunday ride that finally scratched the itch that was the Minalungao National Park.
